On March 2nd, we celebrated our 5th anniversary, and we can't help but feel proud of everything we have accomplished in this time. These have been five incredible years, full of achievements, learnings, and exciting opportunities. It marks a significant milestone in our journey as a company committed to excellence in the field of Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Governance.
From the beginning, Mática has stood out as a unique and boutique business model, with a highly specialized and dedicated approach, and a clear purpose: to bring together an exceptional team of professionals who share the core values of humility, camaraderie, and excellence in the technological and functional realm.
Today, with immense pride, we can affirm that our team has grown to almost 60 individuals. In the past five months, we have experienced significant growth, and the best part is that we have achieved gender equity within our team. And we continue to grow!
Our last fiscal year has been absolutely amazing. We have surpassed our own records, reaching revenues close to 3.5 million euros, representing a 50% growth in our turnover. These outstanding results are the fruit of the hard work and dedication of our talented team, who have continuously strived to deliver innovative and quality solutions to our clients.
In this five-year journey, we have also brought to life exciting projects. Among them, Aqtiva Data Technologies (Soon to be OMMA Data), a leading startup in the application of data quality in Big Data architectures, stands out. We are confident that you will hear a lot about it in the coming months, as it has become a reference in its field and is ready to conquer new horizons.
Furthermore, we have created Mática Venture Builder, our investment vehicle that has allowed us to collaborate with highly promising startups. We are delighted to contribute to the entrepreneurial ecosystem and support innovative projects.
Lastly, we want to express our gratitude to all the individuals who have placed their trust in us: our collaborators, partners, professionals with whom we have shared laughter and challenges, clients, suppliers, and our brave and talented employees. Without you, Mática wouldn't be what it is today!
